Description

The design on the Punkzilla 15oz Black Ceramic Mug was built for a dark surface. Its whole palette is nightclub neon, cyan and magenta and acid yellow burning against a night sky, and printing that on white ceramic would mean fighting the background. Here the glaze does the work instead, and the colors sit on it the way they were meant to.

The decoration wraps the full circumference, so there is no blank back panel and no seam where the scene stops. Turn it in your hand and the composition keeps going: a lighting truss overhead, a cityscape breaking apart in the middle distance, a kaiju in a studded jacket bent over a hot pink guitar with a circled anarchy A stitched across his chest, and a field of shattered concrete where the stage used to be. The print itself is sublimated rather than surface-applied.
